FORM FACTOR VERSATILITY

Form factor refers to the physical properties (primarily dimensional) of the motor — also known as the active materials or the overall envelope size. ECM offers unparalleled volume reduction potential when compared to other technologies with the same power rating. As an ECM motor grows in power, it grows radially rather than axially. For applications where radial size is a concern, the ECM motor can be stacked with a series of smaller stators to reach the desired power.
